Regulatory Status & Important Disclaimers

Platform Status

• FundTrail operates as a technology platform facilitating ROSCA (Rotating Savings and Credit Association) organization

• We are NOT an FCA-authorized financial institution or payment services provider

• We do NOT hold, safeguard, control, or have access to participant funds at any time

• We provide software tools and coordination services only

Payment Processing

• All payments processed through Stripe Financial Connections

• Stripe is a globally regulated payment processor with bank-grade security

• Funds transfer directly between participants' bank accounts via secure banking APIs

• FundTrail never has access to your banking credentials or funds

Participant Risks & Responsibilities

• ROSCAs are unregulated savings schemes not covered by FSCS protection

• Participants join groups at their own risk and discretion

• No guarantee of payment completion or member performance

• Members are responsible for vetting and trusting other participants

• Platform availability and service continuity not guaranteed

What We Do NOT Provide

Agreement to Terms

Important Notice

By accessing or using FundTrail's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Rainecorp Limited ("FundTrail", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16697320.

Our Services

FundTrail provides digital Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA) management services designed to create auditable Source of Funds documentation for mortgage applications.

Core Services Include:

  • Digital ROSCA group creation and management
  • Payment tracking and contribution management
  • Transaction recording and audit trails
  • Group coordination and member management
  • Basic compliance and reporting features

Security & Compliance

Our services maintain high security standards and compliance with UK regulations, ensuring your data is protected and your savings documentation meets all requirements.

Eligibility

To use FundTrail's services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid email address
  • Have a UK bank account for payment processing
  • Complete basic account registration
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

Users must complete basic account setup and email verification before accessing platform features.

Account Registration

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Do not share your login credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Log out from shared or public devices

Accurate Information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

Financial Obligations

ROSCA Contributions

By joining a ROSCA group, you commit to making regular contributions as agreed. Failure to meet these obligations may result in:

  • Removal from the ROSCA group
  • Forfeiture of future payout eligibility
  • Account restrictions or suspension
  • Potential legal action for breach of contract

Platform Fees

Current Fee Structure

We offer multiple subscription plans to meet different user needs:

  • Community Plan: £12/month or £120/year (for active ROSCA participants)
  • Organizer Plan: £25/month or £250/year (for ROSCA leaders & multi-group managers)

All pricing includes VAT where applicable. Annual plans offer significant savings.

Payment Methods

Platform subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe, accepting major credit and debit cards. ROSCA contributions within groups are processed through Open Banking integration via TrueLayer, requiring connection to your UK bank account.

Refunds and Cancellations

Subscription Refunds

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their initial subscription
  • Annual Subscriptions: Prorated refunds available for unused months when cancelled before the renewal date
  • Monthly Subscriptions: No refunds for partial months, but subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of your current billing period

ROSCA Contribution Refunds

  • Group Dissolution: If a group is dissolved before completion, contributions will be refunded to participants within 5-7 business days
  • Early Withdrawal: Members leaving a group early may be subject to group rules and potential forfeitures as agreed upon group creation
  • Platform Error: Refunds processed immediately for any technical errors or unauthorized transactions

Refund Process

To request a refund, contact our support team at support@fundtrail.co.ukwith your account details and reason for the refund request. Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

User Responsibilities

Lawful Use

  • Use services only for legitimate savings purposes
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Do not use the platform for money laundering or fraud
  • Report suspicious activity to our compliance team
  • Maintain accurate records of your participation

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits
  • Using false or misleading information
  • Attempting to manipulate payout selections
  • Interfering with other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineering or unauthorized access attempts
  • Using the service to hide the source of illegal funds

Service Availability

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to our services. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.

Service Interruptions

We reserve the right to suspend services for:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Emergency security measures
  • Regulatory compliance requirements
  • Investigation of suspicious activity
  • Force majeure events

Limitations of Liability

Service Limitations

FundTrail facilitates ROSCA group management and payment coordination. We do not hold client funds directly - payments flow between group members via their banks.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FundTrail's liability is limited to:

  • Direct damages actually suffered by you
  • Maximum liability of £10,000 per incident
  • No liability for indirect or consequential losses
  • No liability for business losses or lost profits

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, network failures, or cyber attacks.

Account Termination

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time, subject to:

  • Completion of all outstanding ROSCA obligations
  • Settlement of any outstanding fees
  • 30-day notice period for active group memberships
  • Compliance with data retention requirements

Termination by FundTrail

We may terminate your account for:

  • Breach of these Terms of Service
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Failure to complete account verification
  • Repeated payment defaults
  • Regulatory requirements

Dispute Resolution

Internal Complaints

We have a formal complaints procedure. Contact our complaints team at complaints@fundtrail.co.uk for resolution of any disputes.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

Changes to Terms
